"This is a song of love, of undying love and gratitude for the person that means the most to me. It's based, in theme, on the Richard Matheson book "What Dreams May Come" in particular the scene where the lead character is fighting relentlessly to save the soul of his WIfe as her soul remains in purgatory whilst his is within another level/realm. It's about showing yourself to your loved one and supporting the love with gratitude, and undying love... through all the odds.
The acoustic demo version was recorded as a live single take in my kitchen, just like most of my demo recordings. No fluff, all
love, live and raw. Thank you for listening, downloading and supporting please share with a loved one." - dunkie

I’ll start by thanking you each day
Thank you for re-opening your arms
And thank you for the lives of our two angels
Thank you for the liberty of love
Thank you for today
I’m thankful that you stayed
I’m thankful sugar melts away
Thank you for the comfort of your touch
I thank the beauty within your eyes
Thank you for the belief in me and us
Thank you for restoring paradise
Thank you for whispering ‘I love you’
Thank you smiling when you are down
Thank you for sharing your life with me
I’m thankful dreams like these have come
Thank you for today
I’m thankful that you stayed
I’m thankful sugar melts away
Thank you for today
I’m thankful that you stayed
I’m thankful sugar melts away
And I apologise for every time that I failed you
And every time I lacked understanding that you deserved
And the patience and the kindness that went amiss
Well I’m sorry, and I thank you... for everything... my love
Thank you for blossoming day by day
Thank you bathing my sins and sores
How can I thank you anymore?
Thank you for remembering my love

The 4th consecutive listen, on first release, made me equal part happy/sad... it's a stunning LP, especially "Trippin #9"; this is what Lennon may have been doing if he were alive today. I'm in love. dunkie
It swims, and swirls. Like a lovely combination of Sigur Ros and Mogwai. Hugely cinematic and atmospheric, it's just a dream to hear., and see now that it's on luscious ocean blue vinyl! dunkie
